Biosecurity Protocol
- Separation: native flock, broilers, egg layers โ no cross contamination
- Foot baths at entry to each area
- Separate feed bins per flock
- No Agrupacion birds mixed with Big Farm birds
- Sick birds isolated immediately โ separate holding pen
- Basic but consistent hygiene โ daily clean
Risk Management
- Watch: feed mould, overcrowding, predator control, heat stress, wet season mud
- Adjust stocking density seasonally
- Predator protection: electric netting, secure night housing
- Disease outbreak protocol: isolate, treat, report
Scaling Plan
Start small, prove system, scale gradually. No sudden expansion. Delivery network will absorb output. Agrupacion remains the poultry hub. Big Farm focuses on ruminants with small broiler/duck integration only.
