The Wagon Wheel

The Wagon Wheel is how the project is organised: clear spokes, connected by simple, repeatable rules. The hub gives direction, the spokes give structure, and the rim — the people — carries the weight.

How to read it

Spokes are the major domains — Café, Feeds & Supply, Livestock, Marine & Seafood, and so on. Each spoke is a department with its own people, systems, and responsibilities.

The hub is shared purpose: food security, livelihoods, stability, and long-term strength. Guided by the Charter.

The rim is the people. Without them there is no system. Resilience lives in people, not infrastructure.

Why it exists

One source of truth. No scattered notes. Easy onboarding — people can find what they need fast. It prevents dumping unstructured notes by forcing proper structure into every spoke.

Ops version

The operational version of the wheel adds HR, governance, engineering, logistics, finance, safety, and more. It runs behind a login for staff only.

Like a wagon wheel — the hub gives direction, the spokes give structure, and the rim carries the weight and meets the ground.
